TYPES OBSERVATIONS AND STUDIES WERE PERFORMED ON THE ANTARCTIC STATION AFTER THE COLLAPSE OF THE USSR

Abstract

The article highlights the key types of studies and observations that were made on the antarctic stations of the former Soviet Union. Since the problem of climate change Antarctic remained one of the key studies in the sixth continent in the period under actively monitored environment of Antarctica and included the following observations of the atmosphere:
ozonosphere monitoring (observatory Pacific);
monitoring of small gas components (Pacific Observatory);
upper-air temperature and wind sensing (Novolazarevskaya and Mirny stations);
Standard ground meteorological observations and aktynometrychni (Novolazarevskaya and Mirny stations);
monitoring of atmospheric circulation in the south polar atmosphere (stations Mirny and Novolazarevskaya).
Also performed in the study period were made in the field of environmental monitoring in Antarctica:
ozonosphere monitoring, integrated and spectral transparency of the atmosphere in Mirny Observatory;
upper-air temperature and wind sensing observatory Mirny and Novolazarevskaya stations;
Standard ground meteorological observations and aktynometrychni observatory Mirny, Novolazarevskaya
stations, East, Bellingshausen in national and international networks;
monitoring atmospheric circulation south polar region using information from satellites (Mirny, Novolazarevskaya), as well as with the operational information aerosinopticheskoy Hydrometeocentre Southern Hemisphere (Pacific Observatory).
