Abstract

The article deals with the life of several of the most famous sources of the boyars of Pereyaslav. They left their mark not only in the chronicles, but also in life, «Ruska Pravda», certificates, built by them religious monumental buildings, monuments of epigraphy, toponymics and sigilography. Even a superficial survey of the lives of these figures, mentioned in the sources only a few times, shows that they occupied an important place in the life of the Pereyaslav, the great Kyiv and other princes. From them very much depended, and they often decided the fate of different princes. Their activities were directly or indirectly connected with the most famous prince of Pereyaslavl Volodymyr Monomakh and his immediate descendants. Most of the famous boyars of Pereyaslavl made a good career with this prince. It did not depend on how their fate was formed after his death or how many years they lived.
