Abstract

The aim of the article is sent to illumination in historical literature of activity of the Ukrainian greco-catholic representative offi ce on the Second Vatican Cathedral. At her writing the critical method of estimation of historical labours and objectivism was applied, and also comparative, chronologic research methods. In the conclusions of the article a general tendency is presented in Ukrainian home historiography in relation to the events of the Second Vatican cathedral (1962 - 1965), in particular to the estimation of presence on him bishops and clergy of the Ukrainian grecocatholic church. The fact of presence is marked on him and of metropolitan И. Blind. In the context of international situation, historians give to it the special value, as by the presence and speech of Й. inverted presentation of many catholic bishops Blind to understanding of existence of Church in a post-war period on territory of Soviet Union. In opinion of home historians of declaration of presence of UGKC on Cathedral became serious by the certifi cate of functioning by the Ukrainian national, and also large hope, on her revival.
