Archaeological heritage of Pereyaslav on the pages of the local newspaper in the 70’s of XX century.

Abstract

Archaeological research in the territory of Pereyaslav were taken place in the twentieth century, and they created the conditions for the detailed study of the history of an ancient city. During the excavations were found many important, previously unknown archaeological sites, which greatly expanded the understanding of the history of the city Pereyaslav. Local researchers, archaeologists and museum workers as G. Buzyan, A. Savchuk, B. Slyusar, V. Rychka, E. Makhno M. Palahuta actively worked in the selected period of time. Their works are often published in the local press to review the history of their hometown. Most attention in their works are dedicated to the ancient history of Pereyaslav. The article describes and analyzes the Pereyaslav archaeologists and regional ethnographers’ published works, that were printed in the city newspaper «Communist labor» for 1970-1979 XX century.
